Precautionary Statements: Product releases chlorine gas when dissolved in water. Always use with a Spiffy Smart Tumbler device according to all instructions to limit exposure. Do not enter vehicle during treatment. Do not inhale chlorine dioxide gas. Use tablet according to instructions immediately after opening package. Avoid breathing dust. Do not use indoors.
Inhalation symptoms include coughing, sore throat, and runny nose. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. After swallowing: Get medical attention or poison control. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Wash out mouth with water. Symptoms include sore throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
Section 5: Fire-Fighting Measures
Suitable extinguishing agents: Water in large amounts, water spray. NO carbon dioxide spray.
Special protective equipment for firefighters: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus PI sure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear. Advice for firefighters: Not combustible but enhances combustion of other substances. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire. Risk of fire and explosion on contact with reducing agents and organic matter. This material in sufficient quantity and reduced particle size can create a dust explosion. Keep product and empty container away from heat and sources of ignition. This chemical has strong oxidizing soluble in water.
Section 6: Accidental Release Measures
Personal precautions: Wear PPE when cleaning up spilled tablet or dissolved solution.
Measures for environmental protection: Take precautions to ensure product does not contaminate the storm water system, surface water, sanitary sewer, or ground water system. Do not discharge near aquatic, plant or animal habitats. Measures for cleaning/collecting: If in solid form, scoop up or vacuum into container for disposal. Avoid inhaling dust. If dissolved solution is spilled, absorb as much as possible, dilute chlorine dioxide solutions (100-200ppm) do not need to be pH neutralized. Flush residual material down drain with large amounts of water, in accordance with local policies.

Handling: Keep in a tightly closed container in original packaging. Do not attempt to reuse tablets or divide into partial usages. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Do not crush or generate dust, do not breathe dust. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Storage: Keep away from heat, sparks, and flame. Store in a cool, dry, place in original packaging away from incompatible substances. Separate from combustible and reducing substances, acids, and other incompatible materials. Corrosive materials should be stored in a separate safety storage cabinet or room. Avoid storage in high humidity environments. Keep out of the reach of children.
